Format
I've been working on the format of the blog, trying out different things. If you have any ideas, feel free to mention them.
Keith Olbermann Campaign Comment from earlier tonight.
I tried embedding the video, but it didn't work. Anyway, check this out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDkpT-eczfU
Fascism, alive and well...

Obviously, these two men did not have a realistic shot of pulling this off. However, it brings to light what most Obama supporters worry about, even if they won't talk about it, or admit it. The possibility of a black man being elected brings out all kinds of fringe whack jobs. We've already seen violence against people who support Obama (I had a car window smashed out, and my sticker ripped off). There's been stories of people having their brakes cut, cars keyed, etc... The McCain campaign, and Sarah Palin in particular, have invited this into mainstream life. Suggesting that Obama palls around with terrorists, that he is a socialist, that he's some sort of, god forbid, muslim. Maybe they haven't specifically said some things, but their surrogates have. They haven't discounted or refuted any of the lies being spread around, and their collective silence has perpetuated the quagmire of shit we currently find ourselves in. It's cynical politics at it's worst, and it may be unforgivable.
